After viewing the spray paint effect that was produced and comparing it to others that we were able to find, we spoke about the quality of the spray paint effect we could produce and the general limitations of Flash Player 7. We felt that we needed to start looking for another way of spray painting using Wiimotes. It was clear that we could connect the Wiimotes to a personal computer (PC) and that we would therefore be able to use any Flash Player version and the power of a computers processing power to produce quality results.
In the end we decided that we would move to a PC, although this dramatically changed the focus of our project. No longer would it be easy for students to use the application at home for practice and we couldn't use the easy Wiimote connection that of course works so well with the Wii. This, we felt, would still be the best course of action as what we could produce in the original method would be little more than a gimmicky toy and wouldn't picked up and used by the community because of that fact.
